Because I want to. Yeah, I want to write whatever I want to write, theme or no theme, news or no news. Random works for me and I want to write about dinner sometimes, that worship is still a favorite subject, politics excite me, sometimes it will be about homeschooling, other times how I love my new grocery store, theology and doctrine could pop up and likely will, or maybe I'll write about how art moves me, the joys of cloth diapering, my latest knitting, and then there are things like the first time I saw a Battledore Placenta and of course poetry, film, music, literature, shows, etc. There's just no telling really.
